Windows 2000 Pro. Hangs at 100 percent CPU

Hello,

I just did a windows update on my Windows 2000
Professional system. Now when you boot the computer it
is EXTREMELY slow and the system process is constantly
using 100% of the CPU. Does anyone know how to fix this!
