Win98 Netbios/TCPIP

When I go to TCP/IP properties the "enable Netbios over TCP/IP" is checked
but gray.
Anyone know why and/or how I can change this?
I want this feature but can't be sure if it's present or not and how would I
change it in futeur?

On my pc it is just like that, but it seems to be enabled as I have just
setup a network with our mac, using tcp/ip.
