Win2k Server lockouts

Hi
I have a problem with windows 2000 server. about 5 times a
day all the users active directory accounts get locked out
and they lose their connection to network resources. the
accounts have to be manually unlocked through active
directory.
server is windows 2000 with service pack 4.
users are win2k clients.

any help would be appreciated

How is your account lockout policy setup? Have you enabled account logon
event auditing on your domain controllers and looked in the security log for
more logon details? There is a white paper that includes sections on
troubleshooting account lockouts here:
