Hi,

Ok what is the difference between SP1 and SP1a?

It an intermediate service pack between 1 and 2?

The only difference is that 1a does not contain the
Microsoft Virtual Machine, per a civil case between
Microsoft and Sun Microsystems (the creators of Java).

If you already have SP1 installed, there is no need to
install SP1a.

If you need a java virtual machine, you can get one from
http://www.java.com

They are identical except that 1a doesn't include Java (Microsoft
had to remove it by court order) and, I think, that 1a will also
uninstall Microsoft Java if it finds it. If you already have SP1,
you don't need, and should not install SP1a.

After a few lawsuits from Sun, Microsoft was forced to remove their version
of JavaVM. The only difference in SP1 and SP1a is that SP1a does not
include MS JavaVM.
