Win 2000 pro/ DPMS Off Mode

I am running Win 2000 pro.
My home computer, which we use as a word processor.
Now out of no where it goes into DPMS Off Mode and I cant
stop it. It is caught in a loop. So it just loads and
then after windows loads it goes back to the boot screen
and so on.

Can anyone help???

Try starting the pc then F8 and choose "Enable VGA Mode" and set the
resolution and or frequency to values the monitor can accept.
