will WinXP 64-bit suppport 16-bit applications

Hello folks,

I know that this post sounds strange, but I have read that windows 2003
Server 64bit will not support old 16 Bit applications anymore but I can' t
find any information about this subject concerning the Win XP64-bit version.
Second, do I assume right that there surely be a 64-bit version of the .NET
framework?

Thank you

Anton

Correct no support for 16-bit applications on 64-bit systems
No public statement on native 64-bit .NET Framework as yet.
