Why don't I have a .pab file?

R

Roy N.

I'm trying to backup my Outlook 2000 data. As a guideline, I'm using the
directions for OL2002 at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;287070

I understand I should backup my .pst, .pab, Outcmd.dat, <Profile Name>.fav
and <Profile Name>.nk2.

If I don't have a .pab file, where are my contacts stored? These are very
important for me to backup.

Also, where are my email rules stored? Would like to back them up as well as
I have quite a few!

Thank you.

Your contacts are stored in your .PST file. You may also want to take a

restoration:
