Which Virus Scanner to believe?

My system:
C - New Win2000 install with Sp2
D, E - Storage drives

Nero gave me an error message about me possibly having a virus.

So I ran AVG Pro 7 - Found 100's of screensavers and EXEs infected with
Win32.Parite (coudn't disinfect a single one though). Almost every EXE on my
system.

Ran Bitdefender, didn't find a single virus.
F-Secure doesn't find anything either.
Panda Antivirus online scanner found only 2 Parite infected files

All programs were the latest versions

Which do I trust?

Seems AVG blew a gasket :) Even if you had a high heuristic setting I
wouldn't expect to ever see anything like that from a av product.

And updated?

Of the four you mentioned, I'd have the greatest confidence in
F-Secure. But I can't explain the odd behaviour of AVG. Very strange.
