Which newsgroups/forums are for OCR software?

A search at google groups on "OCR" only returned two NG's with OCR in the
title. The third NG had some returns related to OCR as well as this NG.
This one might be the most appropiate, however as a rule there is hardly
anything here discussed for beginners.

I'll take a look here.

There are likely web forums.

My host caugh about thirty mails from comp.ai.doc-analysis.ocr.

And only few one of which was OCR realted from comp.doc.management

You may access all these at Google Groups (archives):

by selecting :Advance search options" on the right and then copying and
pasting the NG name into the "Return only messages from the newsgroup" box.
