Where to find bulk toner for Brother MFC-8840D?

I go through a lot of toner, and am looking for a more cost-effective
way to refill, in the form of large bottles of toner. I refuse to
believe there are more than a few dozen types of toner because it would
violate all the basic principles of efficient manufacturing/inventory
management for the toner manufacturing business, and bring it to its
knees.

I am not looking for cartridges, or individual toner refills.
I have looked extensively through eBay and Google, with no result.

I would appreciate NO flame replies, "no can do", "you'll break your
printer", "you'll void your warranty", "there are 354,324+ types of
toner", "you'll thin the ozone layer", or any other
negative/aggressive/fear-loaded replies.

Just looking for large bottles of toner.

I've never tried it, so can't vouch for it, but it might be worth a
try.
