Yes. I mean the Paint that is in every computer that has Windows XP. I used
to have it but it somehow disappeared and I really need it back. I have been
googleing for months and maybe I'm just not looking in the right places but I
can't find any single program that would be even a little bit like that.
PLEASE someone help me and quick.....

Control Panel/Add Remove programs/Add Remove Windows Components.

got start>run and in the box type mspaint

If it works you haven't lost it.

In W2003 it is in the system32 folder

%SystemRoot%\system32\mspaint.exe

It hasn't always been in that folder I think, so you may simply try
searching for that name.

Hi,

First check if c:\windows\system32\mspaint.exe exists, and create a shortcut
and place it in your Accessories folder, see also:

Reinstall:

http://www.winxptutor.com/paint.htm

Repair:

Line 191 right pane.
