When I connect with my VPN my mail is lost from my work computer

When I connect from outside work to my outlook 2003 my office mail is lost. I
can still see all my mail via my VPN from any other site but I lose my mail
on my work site computer.

Do you have your traveling Outlook configured to download mail from the
server or to delivery mail to a PST?

I will have to check. I think it might be download, which could be the problem.
