what's the different between ACPI UniProcessor and ACPI

Hi, all:
As i know both ACPI UniProcessor and ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power
Interface) belongs to single core. But i'd like to know what's the different
between the component in TD? they seem the same.

thanks, and could i say if i want to change processor just update hal.dll
file ???

I would let Target Analyzer locate the correct Computer Component for any
new system.

You can use /HAL switch of boot.ini to change the HAL on the fly.

In general, you can change from the same type of single CPU HAL to the multi processor HAL and back.
But what you can't do is change the type. I.e. go from MPS to ACPI or vice-versa.
