What's meaning of "Office" field in BCM 2007 General Account info?

    Help says: Type the name of the Account (required) and its associated office
    (optional). What is the meaning of "associated office" in real world? I can't
    imagine. If office and factory have different addresses, it's reflected in
    address tab, but what is meaning of that field just below "Account" name?
