Yeah that sounds like its Openreach FTTC, as in what everyone uses, don't be tied down to VF.

Without knowing your location I can't be 100% sure. In terms of provider, personally I'd go Sky or BT.

This article is inaccurate and misleading. speedtest.net measures the bandwidth available between your home router and your ISP's infrastructure. As to what actual bandwidth you get after your traffic hits your ISP...that is a whole different question...which is why any other test will probably more accurate than speedtest.net. fast.com is great, testmy.net is great as well...

Not much difference — both servers are in London. Helsinki servers give ca. 10% better results.

So how are folks speed these days ?

I just received an e-mail from Talk Talk saying they had made my upload speed five times faster. So I did a check and by gum my upload speeds have increased.

After mine had a wobble its been back to what it should be for a while now! Hopefully it stays like it.

Code:
Line attenuation (dB): 10.6 0.0
Signal attenuation (dB): Not available on VDSL2
Connection speed (kbps): 79999 19999
SNR margin (dB): 5.1 12.2
Power (dBm): 13.5 -4.4
Interleave depth: 16 1
INP: 48.00 0
G.INP: Enabled Not enabled
Vectoring status: 5 (VECT_UNCONFIGURED)

And as we're here, heres what I get on EE 4G+ - Its faster than my VDSL2 connection! lol.
