Weird connection problem IE6

Trying to find out what's wrong with a friends PC. MSNmessenger connects,
OE6 connects but can't connect to the internet with IE6. When I type in a
site like google or gap.com The following addresses cycle multiple times
every second in the address bar....

http://www.rspsearch.com/keyword/keyword.aspx?v=6.0&pid=38&rs=0&keyword=www.gap.com/

http://www.ignkeywords.com/keyword/keyword.aspx?v=6.0&pid=38&rs=0&keyword=www.gap.com/

http://www.ignkeywords.com/keyword/keyword.aspx?v=6.0&pid=38&rs=0&keyword=www.google.com/

http://www.ignphrases.com/keyword/keyword.aspx?v=6.0&pid=38&rs=0&keyword=www.google.com/

This happens no matter what site that we try and access.

rspsearch.com, ignsearch.com, ignkeywords.com and ignphrases.com all
redirect to this site..igetnet.com.

I ran a virus scan that didn't pull up anything.

Anyone have an idea on how we might fix this problem?

The browser's been hijacked: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

These days I recommend using Hijack This, per http://snurl.com/1vf8. If you
try AdAware, Spybot or BHO Demon, always seek updates before each and every
use.

Sandi's page http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/Darnit.htm has a quick
"malware identifier" which loads when you open the page. It may help but
you'll prolly need to use one the above to make certain the system is clean.
