Webblog code, or some substitute

Finally I am creating my personal homepage. I want a "News" section where I put in daily(weekly) updates.
Uploading the whole page each time seems stupid, so I thought of using some webblog style to be able to easily put in my updates from a web-interface.
Any recomendations for a free blog-code?
Or some other solution?

http://www.noahgrey.com/greysoft/ is quite nice and free - is a script based solution so anyone (who you give an account to) can update the page with new news
