Way to remove "Current View" section in Folder List

Currently I have Navigation Pane turned on, and when it my Folder List,
about 1/2 way down the screen is a section called

" Current View"
Under this I can select how I want to view what ever area I am in.

Is there a way to remove this "Current View" area? I don't really need it
or use it.

That "Current View" was driving me NuTs!!!!!
....and despite hours of searching Outlook2003s help, I couldn't find
out how this was done!
