W2K Prof Real time clock runs too fast

How can I fix this? W2K clock runs 30 minutes ahead of
actual time. I checked the bios time which is OK. am I
missing some settings here? Time zone settings is set to
the correct zone.

Your PC synchronises itself to some other time
source. You can easily prove this by running it
in island mode.

Thanks for your response, I know this is a silly question
but, when you say "island" mode are you referring to boot
up W2K without even logging on to any server?
