Vista/XP network -- No XP on network map?

Hope this isn't an already answered question: I have an XP and Vista
networked with a hardwired router. All works great except file sharing
(what else is new). However, when I go to Vista's Network and Sharing (in
Control Panel) and map my network, it only shows the Vista, the router, and
the Internet, and not my XP computer. If I click on something like "view
ALL (or other) network components" my XP computer shows up on the bottom of
the screen -- like a red-headed step child. Is this right? Why doesn't my
XP show up on the main screen with my router, etc??

Perhaps this IS the correct way to show the XP. Comments?

Thanks.

Thanks Robert,

I'll give it a try, unless I determine it's not worth the effort. Displaying my XP on the network map is really not a big deal -- there's no loss of functionality (I think).
