Vista won't install due to D347PRT SCSI Controller update required

Hi

I'm getting a problem with installing Vista(home prem) from XP. I've removed
Daemon and Alcohol 120 (which I believe are the main cause of this
problem)but still get this message

You must make the following changes before installing Windows
Close Windows installation and contact the device manufacturer for updated
driver software for these devices:
SCSI and RAID controllers: D347PRT SCSI Controller

Any ideas on what I should do - I can't see any updates via the internet for
this

Thanks

Did you go to the manufacturers web site to look for Vista drivers? Or did
you just use Windows Update?

Check in Device Manager. If the D347PRT SCSI controller is still listed
there, uninstall it.
Also check in Windows\System32\drivers for sptd.sys. Delete it.

I have done both of these and it has not helped me and I cannot install your
OS even after 5 years of development
