Vista Home in a mixed platform network: can't see network printer

We have a 20 PC work environment with 8 Vista Home, 8 Win 2000 and 4 XP Pro.
We are trying to map all PC's to a network printer but the Vista machines
will not see the printer on the network. Any ideas on how to get all PC's to
see the printer on the network?

Tell us more about the printer? If you add the printer, using the option to
add it via the IP address, what happens?

This just worked for me with a wireless-connected HP Officejet 7700. Vista
did not recognize the device at any point along the way, but at the end, it
printed a test page just fine.
