vista beta2 x64 fails to install on asus A8N-VM CSM motherboard, but the x86
32bit version of vista beta2 works fine. For the 64bit version, i booted it
from dvd-rom, when i press the "INSTALL" button, it gives me an error message
as follow"The exception unknown software exception(0xe0000100) occurred in
the application at location 0x77b54b98. Just don't know what's wrong with it?
By the way, my CPU is AMD64 DUAL CORE 3800+. Don't know this problem is come
from vista or the motherboard. But vista works fine after i changed my
motherboard to gigebyte.

I could not get the 64bit to install on my AMD 64 3000+ in a chaintech VNF4
/ VNF4 Ultra ZENITH VE - I burned 3 DVD's and redownloaded the iso. 32 bit
installed fine - go figure. All BIOS's are updated and no peripherals were
plugged in. It would just crap out while copying files.

It is possible you have a corrupted download. Did you verify the integrity
of the file (MD5, CRC)?

I don't think it's becasue of corrupted download. Some other people
experencing the same problem as they use A8n-vm motherboard.
