Vista B2 Install Fails at "Completing Upgrade"

Hi - as title, burnt ISO to a DVD in Nero no problems, stuck it in the test
machine running XP Home, asked for an upgrade. Off it goes, slowly. Well,
it has done all that it needs to, but for what seems to be the very last bit
- and it throws up a message "Windows setup cannot continue due to internal
error - now returning to earlier desktop"......disappointing. I'm about to
try a clean install, presuming I can get some stuff off the machine I wanted
(no, I didn't back the bloody thing up first - lol) - but no loss if I can't.
Any ideas why it would throw this message up?????

Cheers guys.
