virus protect pro problem........help please!!!!

Hi all..slight problem.....i had a lot of spyware problems today and up came a site called virus protect pro,i never downloaded it but i cant get rid of the icon from the tool bar in the bottom right hand corner.It keeps popping up saying that i got malicious spyware etc and need to download it.i downloaded spy hunter instead and it cleared up alot of mess but i cant get rid of one called zlob although every time i run a scan it says its gone but when i turn on the computer its back in registry.

i really want the sheild icon gone from the tool bar so would appreciate some help.

As a rule of thumb, always boot to Safe mode and scan your hard drive twice, with a reboot between each scan.

Remember that Hijackthis must be run in an own folder. Only if Hijackthis is run in its own folder will it create backups!


iesplg.dll was part of the Zlob.Trojan, although the file itself looks to be deleted, I suggest you get HJT to fix the following ...
