I have windows XP home edition. My computer is infected
with a virus W32.Nolon@mm (NQH_kiss_you). I do not know
which microsoft patch corrects this problem or how to
clean the infection after I find the patch.

Can you please help.

Additional Information: I am occassionally getting the
following message.
"iexplore.exe has encountered a problem and needs to
close. Were are sorry for the inconvinience. -----
Please inform microsoft about this."

Perform a free virus scan: http://security.symantec.com/ssc/home.asp?j=1&langid=us&venid=sym&plfid=23&pkj=FHGUCVGZBZTVOGXFSTZ

Microsoft does not issue patches for all viruses. The reason you got the
virus is because you have apparently not installed a descent antivirus program.
Perform a viruse scan and follow the Symantec instructions for removing
the virus. Then purchase a good antivirus program and install it.

Consider purchasing and installing a good,
comprehensive internet security package, such as:

Norton Internet Security 2003
http://www.symantec.com/sabu/nis/nis_pe/

Includes:
.. Norton AntiVirus - protects your PC from viruses
.. Norton Personal Firewall - defends against hackers
.. Norton Privacy Control - keeps your personal information private
.. Norton Intrusion Detection - detects and blocks online security breaches
.. Norton Spam Alert - filters unwanted e-mail
.. Norton Parental Control - keeps your children safe on the Internet from porn
