Viewing photos in Media Center

Guest

I just installed Digital Image 2006 Suite. Since installation, I can no
longer view any of my pictures in Media Center. I like to use Media Center
for slideshows. I checked the file format for the photos and they are jpeg,
(Digital Image Document) but when I try to view the photos in Media Center, I
get a message that the folder is empty. I have no problem viewing in Digital
Image or Windows Viewer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Do any of these image files
have the .png extension?

Try opening one of the files
in DIS Editor and Save it to
your desktop as a JPEG under
a new name. Can you open
this file in Media Center?

I did not see any image files with .png extensions. All are .jpg. I renamed
and saved a file with .jpg format and was still not able to open it Media
Center.

You may need to do some editing in your
registry...carefully read the following article
first before proceeding:

I found the following article while searching the
microsoft.public.windows.mediacenter newsgroup....
maybe it will be useful to you.

My JPG images will not display. How do I fix that?

Here's a link to the newsgroup:

Search for JPEG and you will find the following thread:
"JPEG pictures do not display in WIN XP media center"

Good luck.
