I have a Xerox color scanner that scans in both color and black and white
and creates tif images in a folder on the network. For some reason windows
2000 can view the black and white tif images fine but it does not want to
read the color ones with the default windows imaging application. I can
view the color images in photoshop or other more advanced software but I
don't really want to go through the time and expense of installing it or a
similar application on each and every windows 2000 machine. Is there a way
to get imaging in windows to view color tif files? If there are limitations
to the size of the file or resolution where can this information be found?
