Video through RGB to Liquid Crystal Projector

Hi,

When trying to play video clips (just the sample clips
you get with XP through either media player or movie
maker) to Hitachi LC Projector, the clips play on the
laptop screen but not on projector. Connection is made
through RGB cable and laptop runs XP Pro. Desktop image
and applications are fine, just why no video? Any
solutions? Thanks. David

This sort of thing is normally caused by the hardware overlay, on which
video's are displayed. You need to either set this to the secondary
display, or set your projector to be the primary display as I know of no
laptops which can enable the overlap on both.
