Video card driver change question.

The usual advice given is to remove old driver then install updated one,
but if this is done, I assume you can't use Windows XP's Rollback
option, or can you?

No, you can't, but the rollback feature only re-installs generic Windows
video drivers, anyway. To properly rollback video drivers, you would need
to uninstall, then reinstall your older version. I know a lot of people
moan about this, but realistically, it only takes a few minutes to do it
right.
