Very Long logon Time when you connect to Citrix Metaframe or Citrix 1.8

The Knowledge base article 824309 says there is a problem
with citrix after SP 4 is installed on a 2000 server
running Ctrix 1.8 and says there is a hotfix out there to
resolve this issue. Could any one direct me to a download
or way I could get this hotfix. I've serached windows
update, Microsoft's web sites and found nothing.

Thanks,

Please read article 824309 over. It says,

"A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it
is only intended to correct the problem described in this
article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing
this specific problem. This fix may receive additional
testing to further ensure product quality. Therefore, if
you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft
recommends that you wait for the next Windows 2000 service
pack that contains this fix.

To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft
Product Support Services to obtain the fix. For a complete
list of Microsoft Product Support Services phone numbers
and information about support costs, visit the following
Microsoft Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-
US;CNTACTMS"

You need to contact Microsoft Support and they will send
you the hotfix for free.

Yes thank you very much, but I can read. I've been trying
to get a hold of Microsoft for some time now and get busy
signals, or pay options. I was wondering if there was a
place I could go to download it. Thanks for your help.

OK, but we couldn't know that you had already tried that, could
we?
Microsoft Support has been extremely busy taking calls from people
regarding the Blaster virus. Still, it's the only way of obtaining
the hotfix. When you get through to them, ask for the hotfix,
state the article number, and the support call will be free.

Hotfixes are never available for download, for good reasons:
after developing it, Microsoft has to perform extended testing to
make sure it doesn't break anything, and thus prefers that people
only get it if it is critical for them. They also want to follow-
up how many people who have received the hotfix call again later,
because it didn't fix the problem or caused a new problem.

I read on this article where the symptoms are when you
have Citrix installed.

Has anyone out there experienced a slow connection to TS
without Citrix installed???
This just started happening recently.
After a reboot it works properly only for a short time.

I have a W2K TS With SP4.

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated.
