Valifationg WinXP Pro on stand-alone computer?

Dear Microsoft, I just installed a new,bought version (PID=
76487-oem-0062067-28310)(key= r2qwg-wgwr9-krbmb-k49d3-c4bkg) of WinXP-Pro on
a new computer I set up for my wife. Having installed it (just fine) I learn
that it will LOCK OUT after 30 days if I do not register it on line. This
computer has no modem or network (I am using my computer for this message)
and my wife does not want one. How to register/validate your software? I
cannot send it back to the retailer (Tigerdirect.com) as I have stuck the
sticker on the machine and generally worked over the user guide with colored
pens.
I was not expecting this (it didn't happen with the XP (family) I am using
on this machine.) I am confused when your web site tells me that you do not
support this product!!!
Please advise.
Thank you,

Select the option (go ahead and activate) to activate over the phone.

Galen has provided the correct answer, but you should never have posted the ID
and key here!

Let me elaborate: You will have two options to activate (politically
correct term - not register) 1. By Internet or 2. By phone.
Select the phone option - NOTE: phone number to
call - you will be presented with rather large "key" with
instructions to copy - when you connect by
phone (automated) - you will be asked to input the"key" and
you will receive, in return, the activation
key - follow instructions and is painless - real person to speak to is
available if necessary.

Thanks for the info., I eventually pinned down the "flying question mark" and got to the popup which explained everything. I would have expected this to be a clearly given option during early post-installation. Everything is now hunkey dorey.

Thanks for your concern and contribution. It was all seamless, once I realised that I first had to postpone and wait, then click for help. Dark, mysterious magic from Microsoft, but the truth came out and the sun now shines. My wife will be able to design her quilts for more than 30 days!
