Using USB 2.0 Flash drives in a USB 1.1 socket

My computer is fitted with a front panel USB 1.1 socket, can I use this
socket for a USB 2.0 Flash Drive.

You can plug your USB 2.0 flash drive into that socket, yes. It will
operate at USB 1.1 speed, but it will work.

Sure. You'll get a little warning saying something like "this drive can
perform faster..." but you can ignore that. Most USB 2.0 flash drives
are backwards compatible with 1.1. It will just be slower but far more
convenient to use in the front of the computer than in the back.

Yes, but it will run at the slower USB 1.1 speed.
