Username and password

I am being asked for a username and password to receive or send emails, this
has not always happened but it appears all or any of my passwords are
unsuccesful, any ideas ?

Double check how you have setup your email account, especially spelling.
Check with your ISP about how they want you to login. Usually a user/pw
prompt is due to either user or pw being inaccurately spelled in setup.
