USB trouble: Help Requested

Hi,

I am having problems with a USB memory stick I just bought. It works fine
on every computer I have tried it on except mine....however, every other USB
device I use on my computer works just fine.

I had a similar problem with a similar device before ( a USB adapter for
transfering pisc from a camera). These devices both try to be a "Removable
storage device"

Any ideas?

My USB 256mb memory stick by Sandisk shows up as a removable storage
device both on my desktop and notebook computers running XP Home.
Works fine that way for me.

1-"Removable storage device" is what it is. Mine works
better if I disable buffer & u can remove it faster:
Prop(drive letter) > HardwareTab > Highlight drive > Clk
Prop > PoliciesTab > select 'Opt for Removal'

2-My CF prop thinks it's full but its not. SO I defrag it /
format it & whaa-laa it works.

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)
