USB communing like USB 1.1 or USB 2.0?

In device manager USB I have:

Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Controller
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub

When I transfer from a thumb or memory card how do I know which one of
these is being used? I know that "Enhanced" means USB 2.0, but there
are several USB ports on my machine, and a few (unused) USB ports on
my motherboard? Is there a way to test the USB pipes for speed?

Each USB controller has an associated USB Hub. When you
connect a device it will appear in the Power (TAB) of the Hub
in Device Manager (Properties).

Unfortunately, it's sometimes difficult to determine which of the
hubs is the Enhanced (USB-2.0).

Microsoft offers a tool, UVCView that allows you to graphically
see the entire USB hardware tree.

Thanks! This utility shows the descriptors, endpoints, IDs, etc. I
never knew I had so many USB ports!

Remember that each USB2 port has two logical incarnations: One for
USB1 and a second for USB2.
