Upgrading from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro

I need to upgrade win 2k pro to win xp pro, but the catch is, I have several
years of tax software on my computer that is absolutely imperative that it
remains on my system, as I do not have the installation cd's for all of them
now. Is there any way to ensure that I do not loose my currently installed
programs when I upgrade to win xp pro ?
Thanks

Hello CJ,

You can create an image from the harddisk and restore it if the upgrade fails
for your tax software. Did you check that can run omXP Pro?
