Upgraded to SP2 and I now get Netsetup.cpl.

I have upgraded to SP2 and now when I go to the Control panel / Network and
Internet Connection
I get the the error while working with the "
C:\Windows\System32\netsetup.cpl. " error.

Has anyone encountered that problem?

Yes, I have the same problem. I noticed that when I finally do manage to
open Control panel, the wireless network setup wizard is missing. If it is
there, then I don't have a problem.

I have not figured out a solution to this one. I've tried everything but
uninstalling SP2.

Anyone else having this problem???

Where did you get your SP2 from? Was it automatic download or from a CD.?
I downloaded the IT and Developers version from Microsoft. I have had it
for a couple months now and have no trouble at all with XP Pro.
I was given this advice by some one who had a lot of trouble with SP2
before it was on general release.

I am also getting the same error. If you log off and then log back in
you can call control panel ONCE without getting the error. All
subsequent calls to control panel produce the error. When you click
through the error( "An error occurred while Windows was working with
the Control Panel file C:\WINNT\system32\netsetup.cpl."), control panel
comes up but without the icon for the network setup wizard. Also - if I
log in as a different user (even with full administrative privileges)
the error doesn't happen at all - Control Panel comes up error-free and
shows the icon for the Network Setup Wizard every time. I know one
other person where I work who is having the same problem.

Hello all:

I've been having the exactly same issue... My laptop was running SP2
(dowloaded from microsoft) with no problem until yesterday...
Is there any fix for it yet?
