Unmountable Boot Device

I have a BRAND NEW SOYO KT333 Dragon Plus board with 512M
DDR PC2700, Toshiba DVD, Lite-On 52x/32x/52x CD-RW,
WD800JB 80M hard drive, and an AGP 8x Geforce Video card.
I can NTFS format the drive while booted off CD and load
the OS, when I let it try to reboot from the newly
installed OS, the WinXP logo pops up, the little progress
bar makes a few passes, then it blue-screens
with "unmountable_boot_device" and some other stuff. The
drive was replaced with the same result. I tried
partitioning the drive. No good. I just replaced the
memory. Same error. Any clues??
