If you uninstalled it, you'll need to reinstall it from the installation
media (usually the printer cd).

If you uninstall a program, it's gone. You might be able to recover the
program files, but not any entries in the registry. You must reinstall the
program using the files originally supplied. If you no longer have the disk
supplied with the printer (don't you mean wireless print server?), then
download the required installation files from the manufacturer's website.

Thanks for quick response! No, I don't have the original CD so I will check
the HP website.

Would you not be able to use System Restore to restore back to a restore
point immediately preceding the date that you uninstalled your printer
program?

System Restore does back up files and folders, but only
System Files and Folders, and the Registry, not applications/programs.
Her wireless printer must be reinstalled. If she doesn't have the disk,
she can get the drivers from the manufacturer and they are free.

Let me correct myself for the perfectionists, System restore does not back
up user files and folders.

Hey, you made a mistake and supplied incomplete, erroneous, and misleading
information. Accept the correct and move on. In other words, you were flat
out wrong... and now you are compounding your error.

I happen to like my attitude, it's better than allot of others on here. A
simple polite correction or addition would have been fine. My answer was
correct in reference to the OP's question, I was not flat out wrong, whether
you agree or not... we could go on for days debating.

Hi Ben,

System Restore will not restore uninstalled applications. It was not designed to
do so. System Restore monitors a core set of system files and most of the
registry. In a typical application installation there are file types that System
Restore does not monitor, and therefore will not restore. This would cause the
application to fail to run. An exception to this would be if an application
consisted of only monitored file types. Such as just an EXE file.
