unexpected login error to a domain

I tried this on my xp machine at work/sp2 (firewall off)
After I ran tracks clear, and rebooted, I cannot longer
login with my id to a domain. I can login fine using a
different id.
the window shows "WINDOWS SECURITY MESSAGE" Unexpected
login error. Status 3221225874

Please advise.

Make sure the netlogon service is started.
