Unable to use "NSLOOKUP" command effectively

Hi Guys, I was trying to use nslookup command to convert a domain name to ip address but to no avail. I got the error message Can't find server name for address 192.168.xxx.xxx. Non-existent domain. How do i resolve this issue?
