Unable to run USB speakers and sound card at the same time!

I am running Windows XP SP 1. Up to today I was running with a Turtle
Beach Santa Cruz sound card and Altec Lansing speakers, and everything
worked great. Today I tried to hook up a USB FM Transmitter
(http://www.mobileblackbox.com) so that I could pipe Major League
Baseball audio feeds or streaming Internet radio over an FM frequency
(at very low power) to the FM radios in my house. The tramsmitter
attaches to the USB as a pair of USB speakers.

Unfortunately, as soon as XP recognizes the USB FM transmitter, it
becomes the default output device and I can no longer get any sound
out of the Turtle Beach card. Disconnect the USB FM transmitter, and
al else goes back to normal.

So, the question is whether there is any way to get the USB speakers
and the sound card to work at the same time. Thanks for any info on
this.

Use Control Panel->Sounds And Audio Devices->Audio tab to select the default
device for sound playback.
