Turning off Running Applications

.

First, you don't delete programs, you remove them by
going to your Control Panel and double clicking on
Add/Remove Programs. If for some odd reason your program
is not listed, try going to the start menu where the
program is listed and see if an uninstall link is there
for it. If one is not there, go to the folder where the
program is installed and see if one is there. If not,
you are stuck with deleting it but you will still have
all the registry keys and values and other files that
were copied to the Windows system folders.

If you are forced to delete the folder rather than
uninstalling and need to terminate the program with no
other method available, you can hit Control-Alt-Delete
and click on Task Manager. Click on the program you want
to terminate and then click on End Task.

Open Task Manager (press CTRL+ALT+DEL) and kill that application/process.
