Trying to acces old .pst, getting Accses Denied

Purchased new computer and had them install the old drive into the computer.
I installed Outlook 2003 (I've got Windows Vista, Home Premium). I first
tried to open the old .pst file using File/Open/Outlook Data File. Gave me a
system error telling me I did not have access.

I located the file on the old drive, renamed it, and copied it into the new
drive, and into the same folder as the new .pst file. I then tried to open it
with File/Open, etc, and got an Outlook error telling me I don't have access
(there was no password on this file). I saw in other messages that the advice
was to remove the Read Only (it would be nice to explain how to do that). I
assume that is in File Propertiesm, so checked File Properties, and according
to that, I have full access.

I've read some of the KB articles, but they don't seem to help.

Thanks,

-b
