Transferring calandar from 1 machine to another

Trying to find a way to transfer a users calandar from a
win95 / Office 97 Pro machine to a new XP office 2000
machine. Is there an import / export feature? Are there
files I can copy and import from one to the other like
copying the *.pst and then opening it on the new machine?
Are the 2 different versions compatible. Did not think
this would be such a hard task but seems like it is and no
one seems to have a good answer.

Just reuse the .PST file on the new machine -- you retain the most data
and custom settings that way. Look here for all the information you
need on backup and restoration of Outlook data:
