Sandra, I'm sorry, I still don't understand what the problem is. Computers
are hardware. They can't do any "magic" without files: operating system
files, driver files, program files, personal files.
When I scan my computer with an antivirus program I can watch its progress
bar and the file names flying by. When it's finished, it will have examined
over 100,000 files on just one of my 6 partitions.
What are you scanning with? An antivirus program? Or something else? Does
the scanning program tell you that there is trouble or not?
If you're simply worried about the number of files on the computer - don't.
Unless something is broken - there is nothing to fix.
