Thumbnail in taskbar dissappeared

Hello, since a day or two I got this weird issue that when I hover over a
button of a window, the live preview won't show up.

The only thing I get is the text message that should be shown above the
thumbnail (wich is not there at all).

"Always display icons, never display tumbnails" is switched off, I can run
Aero and Flip 3D, I already cleared my icon catch, the "Display thumbnails"
option for the taskbar is switched on and I really, really hate Windows Vista.

This is also the weirdest solution I ever had. This just recently happened:

I went to: Remove programs in the Configurations. I selected the option
"Activate or deactivate windows parts".
There I installed Internet Information services and everything was back to
normal :S.

I concidder this one accidentilly solved by some reason.
