The specified Account was not found. It might have been deleted

I'm not sure what this pertains to, but it's quite annoying. My company (A
smallish ISP) decided to start using an SBS server and Exchange, and switched
us all to Outlook 2003. I've always used Outlook Express and IMAP, so it's
somewhat new to me.

I'm an ISP tech though so I know my way around, and common sense is my
forté, so it was no trouble to get used to it.

The only thing is that when I try to go in the Email Accounts screen ("view
or change existing account"), whenever I select a different account I will
invariably get a message saying that "The specified Account was not found. It
might have been deleted." How this error could occure in the exact page where
the existing accounts are listed is beyond me, but that's MS logic for you.

I've tried deleting and recreating all the account (the exchange server, and
IMAP) and still get the same problem. I haven't tried creating a new outlook
profile because I dont want to loose all my contacts, configurations, and
calendar files.

This is getting rather annoying, if I add it to the series of bugs that have
plagued me since I was forced to start using MS Outlook 2003...

This depends on how your profile was created. Do you now connect to an
Exchange server by IMAP or by an Exchange Account? Either way; recreating
your mail profile does not lead to loss of information.

I'm connecting through an Exchange (SBS) server, but I also have 3 IMAP
accounts that I use. All of those accounts do the exact same thing.

I have tried deleting all the accounts and recreating them, and the same
problem occurs.

The only thing I didn't try is to create a new profile, as I said because i
would lose all my personal configurations (Options, preferences) as well as
my calendar, it seems.

No, you won't loose to much in this configuration. You can create an
additional profile first to see if it indeed solves your issue.
