It's freezing around here. Some flakes fell earlier, but didn't settle (I think the ground was too wet after rain.) The sky looked very black, so I suspect more is on the way.

Glad to be back indoors and cosy. :)

It snowed last night, not a lot but enough to cause widespread chaos this morning.
All main roads where fine, just the side roads, but it was panic moad for most!
Out towards Horsham nice green fields and no snow!!!

But more time to panic as snow due to hit London & the South East for Thursdays rush hr.
I just dont understand how Urmas survives with the snow they get!!:p

I suppose when you get as much snow as Finland does then you learn to cope with it.

Also, they're Finns, not wusses like us Brits.

Oh, and their government probably don't mind spending a few bob on measures to cope with the powdery white stuff.

Light dusting here on the Meridian line, pavements and roads clear as snow didn't settle there. However, my 09:52 train to London Bridge still managed to be five minutes late.

I am reminded of British Rail's classic excuse for train cancellations and delays when it snowed 'It was the wrong type of snow'.

I see, that's ok then innit?

What Flops said, countries that have lots of snow have a bigger budget to deal with it. ;)

Hell some of the places that have a ton of snow have heated roads.
